Racism

In my opinion racism in Colombia is most common in cities that are in the interior of the country, but if you ask someone if he/ she is racist there's like 90% possibilities that the answer will be no!! there's a prejudice that says that black people have to be slaves because of what it's seen on our American history, on the other side in cities near the coast we have some type of people that doesn't care if you are black or white they think everyone deserves to be treating as equals.

Mariana Rondon will be in favor of all these organizations that contributes by changing the way of thinking about racism, however there are black people with "pelo malo" we can also find black indigenous people with long straight hair. Racism is only a matter of perspective created by the stereotypes that have being raised in our cultures, but we have the right to decide whether to follow of now to follow them.

About me

Helloo!, my name is Andrea Barrero Muvdi, I'm 21 years old, born in Barranquilla, Colombia. I graduated from high school in 2011, I was always interested in studying something related with design, but I was between Architecture or Interior Design, however none of those was the one that convinced me, so I decided to study Industrial Design at Universidad del Norte. Now I'm in 7th semester and I have no regrets of my decision, the next semester I'll be on professional practices and I hope I can find an industry out of the city, full of design work so I can let my footprint!. Then I would like to work on a company for a couple of years and begin growing my own business project.
Studying Industrial Design isn't as easy as it sounds, so in my short free time I like hanging out with friends, visiting the cinema, watching series like How I met your mother, resurrection and lie to me on Netflix, sometimes I play video games with my brothers, I love riding bicycle and going to the gym; all these stuff I make it the most of the time in vacations!.
